Who are we at Trinity Lutheran Church?
You can answer that question from a few different angles. By the numbers we are a church of just over one hundred souls. We usually have around forty people a Sunday. We are a collection of people from Abita Springs, Covington, Mandeville, Slidell, and Southwest Mississippi.
We’re a church with people from different backgrounds. Some have been in church their whole lives. Others grew up without a connection to the church. We aren’t perfect. As a church we know we’re sinful.
We don’t see our church as a museum of the saints but a hospital for sinners. We come to Jesus for help, and he helps us. His Word gives us hope and feeds our faith. We gather together to bear each other’s burdens.
